The Astros' 1st trip to the postseason after their rebuild? Lost in the ALDS then won the WS 2 years later & made it to at least the ALCS 6 straight years (could go to 7 in 2023).
We're built like HOU was. I know it's tough, but keep that in mind.

I want more, but I am also trying to temper my emotional response with logic and facts. I'm not sure how successful I'll be but I need to try.

The Astros owner hadn’t said in September of that first year in the ALDS that they wouldn’t be able to afford or keep their young stars. Angelos did
@diehardfanjamie
The Astros owner wasn't working over the State Assembly for a windfall of grants & tax write-offs to transform not only his ballpark but the surrounding area. John Angelos was playing the long con. It's smart business but shitty PR. He figured the team's success would shield him
@EarlFckinWeaver
Of the 26 on the roster, how many are even 30? Five. And none started this game, and only one (Coulombe) has appeared and only one (McCann) will likely be back next year. This team is YOUNG.
@EarlFckinWeaver
Game One, didn't get the big hit.
Game Two, didn't get the big outs. Grayson had one of THOSE rookie games. They still fought their asses off.
We won 101 with a ton of heart. It's clear we need a bit more talent for the postseason. And that's okay.
@EarlFckinWeaver
It’s been a sweet ride and it isn’t over yet. This whole year has been great & the Orioles are going to be a force to reckoned with in years to come.
@EarlFckinWeaver
It’s not over yet but I hope this gets the owner to realize that we still have some needs that we can’t fill ourselves yet. Maybe Elias will be able to go and get some guys we really need and maybe make some trades
