Thank you to everyone who attended our special Firefighters Charity Open Day at Moorland Railway and Gardens on Sunday. To date, we have raised over £1300 towards the Volunteer Firefighters Fund! Also, thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the day such a success!

Following all the amazing work done by local farmers and businesses helping to contain the Moorland Fires which threatened us for the last couple of weeks we have decided to raise funds for all the volunteer firefighters at the Charity Day this Sunday.

Today, Nunthorpe Station volunteers had a mammoth session replacing one of the old, rotten planters on platform 1. They would like to thank @The Shed Redcar, who custom built their smart new planter 👏🏻 which will be topped up with compost and planted up later.

🎨Artwork Competition S&DR200 🚂 Goodie bags are ready for our young artists and will be going out from today. The children's artwork will be included in a large poster and displayed at Nunthorpe station. 👏🏻 Well done to all the children who entered

Last Friday our trusty team of volunteers were back at Middlesbrough Station to plant lots of herbs & flowers, supplied by TPE, in the raised beds. Once establised, the new planting will add a burst of colour and tranquility to the station. Thank you to everyone involved!
