Last stop: @DokuFest! I attended tonight the opening ceremony of this incredible film festival. Proud that the EU has been part of #DokuFest's journey from its modest beginnings to its current acclaim. What a wonderful event to end my mandate as EU Ambassador.

Visited today a wonderful EU-supported mural in #Prizren, part of our efforts to enhance urban spaces through artistic interventions. Had a great exchange with the talented artists who explained the mural's concept, inspired by the city's rich history.

Just before the summer break, we had lunch with PM @albinkurti, along with representatives of our EU family & candidate countries in #Kosovo.   This gathering was an opportunity to discuss important issues related to Kosovo's EU path, focusing on the next steps in this journey.

The civil society has been doing its part for years and decades. Its tireless work on dealing with the past is commendable.  It's high time for institutions to follow suit.

I welcome the second publication of the #Kosovo Memory Book - a tangible result of the EU-funded RECOM Reconciliation Network, the only regional initiative dealing with the legacy of the past in the Western Balkans.

Spoke today at the XVI Forum on Transitional Justice—a topic of immense importance across the Western Balkans.  Proud that the EU has been supporting grassroots civil society actors in their aspirations for transitional justice & locally-owned, inclusive reconciliation efforts.

Data protection and access to public documents: two critical issues that I discussed today with Commissioner for Information and Privacy, Krenare Sogojeva Dërmaku. Thanking her for the diligent work in these two areas, I reaffirmed the EU's support for the agency's efforts.

Bid farewell to EU Ambassador in Kosova, Tomáš Szunyog. During his tenure, Kosova applied for membership in the EU, achieved visa liberalization and scored the best ever Country Report in 2022 among many other successes. Wished him good luck in his future endeavors.

In my farewell meeting with 🇽🇰Kosovo President @VjosaOsmaniPRKS, I thanked her for our cooperation during my tenure. I reaffirmed @EUKosovo's steadfast commitment to supporting #Kosovo on its path towards the EU.

Bid farewell to 🇽🇰Kosovo's Deputy PM @BislimiBesnik. Thanking him for the cooperation on important issues related to European integration, I reiterated that Kosovo's European path goes through the EU-facilitated Dialogue, the only viable platform to address outstanding issues.

Today, I had a farewell meeting with Kosovo's Prime Minister @albinkurti, whom I thanked for the cooperation. Reaffirmed the EU's role as a stable & irreplaceable partner for Kosovo & encouraged him to accelerate the necessary reforms for Kosovo's EU path.

As I bid farewell to my staff, I would like to offer a few words of praise. I thank them for their endurance, resilience, and hard work. I am grateful for their understanding & for sticking with the team. Tonight, they had one request: to say they are fabulous. Indeed, they are!
