🚚🥛 The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints delivered 2,000 gallons of 2% milk to the ETFB today to help fight hunger. Milk is one of the most requested items for families in need. This donation will help provide vital nutrition as children head back to school.

Time matters — don’t let food sit out!.Refrigerate perishable foods within 2 hours. Bacteria grow quickly in the “Danger Zone,” between 40°F and 140°F. Pack up leftovers promptly and keep them safe.

Our Texarkana Resource Center wants to say a big thank you to the Transco Railway Team for their recent donation of paper towels, toilet tissue and other household items for our neighbors. In addition, the team donated over 500 pounds of canned goods and pantry staples as well.

Carmela started visiting the Deep East Texas Resource Center in Lufkin a few months ago. "Once inside I not only found food I found friendship, kindness and help with other things," she said. "They always let us know what's happening in the community and help any way they can."

East Texas Food Bank is sending 20 pallets of water from our disaster stockpile today to the city of Zavalla in Angelina County after the city has to shut down the water due to potential damage.
