Blue River Cohort, made up of E-M-F, Shickley, McCool Junction, and Dorchester, gathered Sept. 2 to learn, connect, and be inspired. Teachers spent the day with Dr. Rob Bell on building mental toughness and collaborated in content area groups to share ideas and tools.

ESU 6 social studies teachers visited the Durham Museum in Omaha! After a guided tour, they explored primary sources and discussed how to effectively use them for inquiry based instruction in their classrooms. Collaborate with other teachers and enjoy learning together!

Congratulations to our 2025 ESU 6 High School Quiz Bowl champions! .We had 32 teams in the High School meet competing in three divisions based on district size. Waverly, Malcolm and Heartland won their divisions with Norris, Malcolm and McCool Junction taking second.

March 24th - ESU 6 held a Community Agency Night where guests gathered to meet with agencies that serve individuals with disabilities from birth through adulthood. Information was shared on services, supports, and Waiver Services.
