It was wonderful to visit the Ipswich ED team and see their impressive new department. Celebrating their remarkable transformation and significant improvements, particularly in managing deteriorating patients, with expanded Majors and increased resus capacity!

PEWS is coming to ESNEFT!! Work is underway to ensure all staff are trained in the new national paediatric early warning system (PEWS) ready for implementation in September. Training session’s available. Head to our deteriorating patient intranet page for more info.

As part of our work we run implementation projects. It’s great when our hard work is recognised. This month Millie received Greatix of the month for her work on MEWS which is one of the aims of the NHS Three Year Plan for maternity.
