Gotta say, I’m really disappointed with Erica Cody. Having competed in Eurosong herself, she would’ve known the contractual obligations facing her if she had went to Eurovision.
It’s not as easy as simply refusing to go. Contracts have been signed with RTÉ, EBU etc.
More than 400 Irish artists and creatives, including Eurosong runner-up Erica-Cody, have signed an open letter calling on Bambie Thug to boycott the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Read more:

🇮🇪 Brooke's vocals are amazing, Juries won't blank this. The light show is probably the best of the year. I would've liked some cooler camera shots at times. The pyro at the end really make the last 20-30 seconds a proper moment. Qualifier? I think so.

I don’t see how people don’t realize artists are locked into contracts and have to follow the rules very very closely, ESPECIALLY cause it’s with a public broadcaster.
They could get into huge financial/legal trouble for breaking the contract.
