Ideas are really a dime a dozen. It doesn’t mean they’re not important. It means to get to one great idea, you probably should kill 100s of em.

sad Google is still fumbling the bag, they went full founder mode til Gemini caught up and wasn’t a joke and back to complacency. They have Android, chrome, google home, gmail, Chromebooks, docs. No memory, bare minimum ai feature across the stack, home still zero Gemini.
I simply do not understand why no company other than openAI is very seriously focusing on memory/personalization . it’s the main reason I use openAI. what shocks me is that barring grok (which has context of my tweets now) there’s no other AI company that is even trying to.

2 types of ppl: ppl who chase and ppl who don't. my dad hustled his way out of poverty. more like @tomsiwik should speak out, it's bad when ppl virtue signal about others they have no idea about. if my dad spent all day worried about how unfair it is, i would've never existed.
I did not start privileged. I'm from Lituania and my parents busted off their asses to survive in Germany and I'm thankful for that. They taught me the same values when I went to study. no money for me. I hacked the neighbors wifi just to have internet. It's easy to find.

A little motivation today: Solo (mostly) startup sells for $80M in cash. Lots of big tech startups willing to pay for your saas that takes off.

In Base44's six months as a stand-alone company, it reportedly grew to 250,000 users and was making nearly $200,000 in monthly profits.

Is there an app you learned from #buildinpublic from a sub 100k follower builder that you actually paid for?. And what got you over the hump?.

That accountants and bottom rung office jobs is more aspiring than building a house is a huge problem. Pushing spreadsheets is easily automate able, and thus unrewarding, and actually brings very little to society versus building a house. Completely backwards.
@zachweinberg As someone who helps build houses, it’s simply not going to happen without a massive change in the social structure of society. Home building is seen as a job for low skilled people, but the reality is it requires incredible skills that only come with experience.
