Shri Panda shared state’s bold vision to strengthen existing industries and fast-track IT, ITeS & ESDM growth—positioning it as a premier tech hub. Emphasis was laid on existing industries, attracting investments & accelerating innovation to make Odisha a leading digital economy.

The gathering saw the esteemed presence of Shri Manas Ranjan Panda, Special Secretary, Electronics & IT Dept, Govt of Odisha; Mr. Prosenjit Sengupta, Chairman, CII Eastern Region; Mr. Manojit Sengupta, Co-Chairman, CII Eastern Region; along with several senior industry leaders.

Shri Dev further added, "It is important to remember that states can only offer robust policies, the real measure of success lies in the actual flow of investments. Odisha’s top ranking in fiscal management by @NITIAayog reflects our strong governance and financial discipline."

Shri Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary, E&IT Department, who chaired the workshop stated, “While incentives are important, they alone are not sufficient to attract investments. A robust and comprehensive ecosystem is essential to truly leverage the benefits of any policy.”

The department presented the proposed revisions to the policy framework in the workshop, which also saw introduction of a first-of-its-kind internship and logistics subsidies aimed at strengthening the talent pipeline and improving supply chain efficiency within the ESDM sector.

The E&IT Dept organized an Industry Interaction Workshop on ‘The Odisha Advantage: Fueling Your ESDM Vision’. Chaired by Principal Secretary, Sri Vishal Kumar Dev & Special Secretary, Sri Manas Ranjan Panda, the event witnessed a feedback session with the industry stakeholders.

A compelling presentation presented yesterday outlined Odisha’s IT/ITeS vision for 2030, highlighting market potential, global trends and the state’s readiness to become a national leader in digital innovation.
