The arts are alive at Gideon! At 10:00 our 5th graders are performing their scene from the Lion King thanks to our partnership with @KimmelCC #OneMusicalPhilly At 12:00 our junior and dance ensembles will perform at West Philadelphia High School Some students are in both shows

Normally our students are occupied with kickball during recess but lately some have shown interest in #handball Mr. Wright decided to knock off the rust and show them his skills! A big thank you to @crampschool for sharing the handballs with us!

While students were leaving the @PhillyYouthBB 🏀 after school program I hear one say “I cant wait for violin tomorrow!” The goal is to create a culture where students are excited to attend school, this statement proves that we’re on the right track 🤗.
