Carter Poe has transferred to Montgomery County from Powell County. Poe led the Pirates with 39 hits and .409 batting average. He also pitched 34 innings with a 2.68 ERA as a sophomore last season.

Abe Mullins has transferred to Montgomery County from George Rogers Clark. Mullins batted .336 and had 37 hits as a sophomore last season. He also pitched 23.2 innings. Though, he will miss all/most of his junior year with an elbow injury.
