This setup was slightly complex, but it was worth the effort. With this system in place, I can automatically surface low-hanging fixes, which frees up my time to do deeper reviews & focus on more complex issues. It's like having an assistant who handles preliminary reviews.

One of the most significant parts of my job is code reviews. It's crucial, but it can also be time-consuming. So, I've started using a combination of @zapier and @OpenAI's ChatGPT to automate parts of the process.🤖

🧵 Recently, I've been focusing on streamlining my workflow with AI tools. As someone who leads frontend teams (Web and Mobile) at my workplace, is learning Bioinformatics, writes code, & is trying to be more active with sharing knowledge on social media, efficiency is critical.

For context, Starpi (Community) is an Open-Source, Headless CMS. So we host the code. Automatically committing changes ensures we can quickly revert to a previous version using git in case any issues arise from using the CMS UI - which was the root of our initial problems.

I wrote many scripts (Bard & ChatGPT doing grunt work). - A script + service pair to build & run Strapi in production. - Another to run Strapi in development (you can't edit content types in prod) - Another to automatically commit changes on the server (Strapi generated files)

I am thrilled to report that after two days of hard work, I am fully confident that I have taken all the necessary steps to prevent a similar situation from happening again😩.
