Good morning, @easyJet! Hoping you can find out why my claim was denied?

@easyJet @AliensMetal Sorry but we all got this notification and it mentions no where on your website what to do when EasyJet tell you they’re giving you a free flight. Who do I apply to? Why won’t anyone talk to us?

@easyJet can you please confirm what compensation is available for delayed flight EZY8194 to london Gatwick?

@British_Airways my mum is (still) stuck at T5. ❌️ she was cancelled without explanation less than 4 hours before departure (upon reaching the gate) ❌️ she was then told to wait 7 hours for the next flight ❌️ she was given a 10£(!!) voucher ❌️ turned away at lounge

In just one claim, @easyjet neglected to comply with Article 14 of EC 261/2004, and then unlawfully denied compensation under Article 6(1)(a), Article 7(1)(a), and Article 9 of that same law. #EU261 #EC261 #easyjet Who is going to hold these airlines responsible?

Has @easyJet - Article 14 of EC261/2004 2. An operating air carrier...shall provide each passenger affected with a written notice setting out the rules for compensation ... It shall also provide each passenger affected by a delay of ... two hours with an equivalent notice #EU261

Still waiting on that response, @easyJet! No email, no call back, only a denial which gave an incorrect assessment of the law specified by the @EU_Commission. I think they should be notified as well, since you are denying claims for all passengers on this flight. #easyJet #EU261
