Our special education students in SPED 3003 prepare, practice and teach academic lessons to learners with moderate disabilities in conjunction with our service-learning partner, the Drew Steele Center. Earlier this semester, they were preparing a reading lesson.

Over fall break, 4 undergrad special education majors traveled with Dr. Kristin Burnette to Carroll County Public Schools in Maryland. As part of the experience, they attended a district-level planning meeting and visited with 4 schools & met with the district inclusion coaches.
