The opening ceremony was officiated by the Director General of the East Central & Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC) Prof. Yoswa Dambisya and chaired by the College’s President Prof. Fredrick Chite Asirwa.

Members were able to review a report on the milestones achieved by the College, planning on the College’s operations, growth prospects as well as discussion on the strategies to steer the College ahead.

The ECSACO hybrid - virtual and face-to-face - meeting held at the ECSA-HC headquarters brought together oncologists from Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi.

ECSACO Members were hosted in Arusha, Tanzania to deliberate the way forward and receive updates on the milestones achieved by the College so far since its establishment.
