The project is part of the 232-acre Grizzly Peak Strategic Fuel Break—a collaboration between the Park District, UC Berkeley, EBMUD, City of Berkeley, Hills Emergency Forum. The goal—5 miles of shaded fuel break along Fish Ranch Rd, Grizzly Peak Blvd, and other key roads.
