Yesterday, I spoke about the Governor's vetoes of commonsense gun violence prevention bills. The majority of Virginians support our bills to ensure safe storage & disarm violent abusers. Virginians demand action and we will continue fighting for them.

Today, I went to Richmond for the Heating and Cooling Building Code Study Group meeting where we discussed how to improve the Building Code to address residents' concerns around heating and cooling requirements. It was a fitting day to discuss air conditioning!

Wonderful to attend Girls State once again! The students asked great questions about the ins and outs of the GA, education, food insecurity and getting involved. One student told me I helped restore her faith in gov't, but they gave me renewed optimism too! Our future is bright.

Earlier today, I attended the Meetings Issues Subcommittee of the FOIA Council where we discussed @AdamEbbin's bill about adding items to agendas, remote voting in states of emergency, FOIA rules for stakeholder meetings and more. I look forward to continuing our work next month!

I'm grateful to be endorsed by @RoeYourVoteVA! When we keep our House majority this fall, we'll send a constitutional amendment to protect all reproductive health care to the voters, so we can ensure Virginia is a permanent safe haven for abortion rights in the South.

Last week, I had the special opportunity of visiting @VirginiaABC's HQ and distribution center! I enjoyed hearing about their operations, products, and work to safe alcohol consumption. I also got to speak with Northern Virginia store managers and thank them for all they do.

It was great to speak with the Alexandria Rotary Club today as they distributed grants to dozens of local nonprofits. Thank you for all you do for our community and thank you for having me!

I was proud to attend and speak at the #WearOrange Rally. Every gun death is preventable, and I know together, we can end gun violence. Special shoutout to the ACHS students with @StudentsDemand! Ruby's speech was inspiring and helped ground me in the importance of this work.

I'm excited that @SpanbergerForVA has included my proposal to preserve affordable housing in her housing agenda! My bill to address VA's critical housing crisis has been vetoed two years in a row by Gov. Youngkin and I can't wait to elect a Governor who will sign and champion it.
