Yesterday, I spoke about the Governor's vetoes of commonsense gun violence prevention bills. The majority of Virginians support our bills to ensure safe storage & disarm violent abusers. Virginians demand action and we will continue fighting for them.

Today, I went to Richmond for the Heating and Cooling Building Code Study Group meeting where we discussed how to improve the Building Code to address residents' concerns around heating and cooling requirements. It was a fitting day to discuss air conditioning!

Wonderful to attend Girls State once again! The students asked great questions about the ins and outs of the GA, education, food insecurity and getting involved. One student told me I helped restore her faith in gov't, but they gave me renewed optimism too! Our future is bright.

Earlier today, I attended the Meetings Issues Subcommittee of the FOIA Council where we discussed @AdamEbbin's bill about adding items to agendas, remote voting in states of emergency, FOIA rules for stakeholder meetings and more. I look forward to continuing our work next month!
