Maintenance will be done on the EBI High Performance Computing infrastructure from 20 Aug till 22 Aug. OLS will stop data releases from 16 Aug, commencing again on 23 Aug. If you need changes to be available on OLS, ensure to have it available by 13 Aug at the latest.

We have now completed the change to route OLS3 (/ols/) requests to OLS4 (/ols4/). Thus, all OLS requests should now go to OLS4. If you do encounter any issues, please open a ticket at https://t.co/pzcHDlID6W and we will attend to it ASAP.

We are happy to report that the OLS4 critical issue ( https://t.co/nvxDoH7QfT) has been resolved! OLS3 will be switched off on 13 Nov. Please test your application against OLS4 ASAP so that we can deal with any issues ASAP.

We are aware of an issue currently where the Solr pod on K8s is restarting arbitrarily resulting in OLS being unresponsive for about 20 minutes until Solr starts up again. We are working actively on resolving it ASAP. We appreciate your understanding and patience in this regard.

OLS 4 is down. We are looking into the issue.

3. A number of high/medium priority bugs were logged. Changes for addressing 3 will go into our test environment for proper testing shortly.

In the last while we have experienced 3 main issues with OLS4. 1. We had failures of the data release pipeline. 2. We had infrastructure resource issues resulting in OLS4 going down. We have good reason to believe we have resolved 1 & 2, however we will continue monitoring.
