A cousin of ours just pulled her teenage boy from a Vernon Christian High School here in BC.
A peer of his is choosing to identify as a cat, so the teachers got litter boxes to accommodate the nonsense.

I just wonder why everyone is going along with this nonsense. Why does no one challenge the child by asking him at what point in time cats historically went to people school. If you’re going to identify as something it shouldn’t be a half-assed effort. Play the whole part.

The litter box is also at my teens high school here in Ontario. School board is afraid of being sued so everyone must "accommodate". People are far too apathetic.

I wished I was a cat as a kid. Cats were cool and mysterious.
I tried to purr. I sat under desks. I swatted and hissed. Only at home, of course, bc I knew it was silly.
My family was mildly amused and mildly annoyed. Mostly they ignored it and it went away.
