@DutchHockeyMom Based on my interactions online: a large # of people think unvaxxed Canadians are free to go but that it's OTHER countries who won't let unvaccinated people in - which of course is completely false. Also, the ones who know the truth are very happy about oppressing the unvaxxed.

@DutchHockeyMom I think a lot of people may be of the opinion that everyone has a choice, and that whether we like the mandate or not, the choice is available to solve the problem by being vaxxed. Polio vaccinations were mandated too.

@DutchHockeyMom I find that they don't sympathize. My sister still thinks I can end all my problems by getting vaccinated....

@DutchHockeyMom I think about it like this: The un-vaxed made the choice not to be vaccinated; so they chose to deal with the consequences of that action. Like every other decision an adult makes.
