Whenever I see the tired MP3 / WAV debate, I always think of this track. We had this tune (the A side of the release) pressed from a 320kbps MP3 as we lost the WAV. People still bought the record, DJs still played it & people still danced to it in clubs.

No replacements I've tried sound as good, and the output is low. Was thinking about giving the Ortofon VNL's a go, but maybe the Jico N44-7 sound like they could be the stylus that nail it. .

I know it was in 2018, but I'm still gutted that Shure stopped manufacturing the M44-7 cartridges 😭.
