I still feel a lot of nostalgia for the older PES, although this one is easily one of the worst 😬 The overall production value was low, it was laggy on PS3 and the online gameplay was a pain. It was the first but not last failed console transition for PES (2014 & 2022 vibes)

📌 So I quickly created this table outlining the main differences and task allocation between the two engines currently used on #efootball. 👇 Don't forget that things can evolve, most cutscenes stuff were not handled by Unreal Engine in early versions for example.

Preparing a roof for storms is crucial to protect your home from potential damage. Thunderstorms, snowstorms, & hurricanes can bring high winds, heavy rain, & even hail, all of which can wreak havoc on an unprepared roof. Here are some tips to help you get your roof storm-ready.

btw I'll write a post to explain what the Unreal Engine actually does on efootball, because many people don't know that it's not the only engine or even the main engine on the game.

🛠️ So I just found something I hadn't noticed before, and it's been there since #efootball v5.2: This new file relates to mesh/skeleton rendering and mentions Unreal Engine 5. It's not used by the game atm, but this shows that devs are working about something related to UE5..👀

This is probably the first time since PES & Weedens era that I see a pretty well-made #efootball promotional video with in-game gameplay (the bokeh effect really help to hide the bad crowd). But I'll never understand why most of them are released at 15 fps... 🙄

Probably the PES with the most evolution from year to year: new art direction, new animations, freedom of movement & passing, power gauge, new game plan, master league online, top-notch edit mode, Copa Libertadores... Imperfect, but so refreshing back in the time! ❤️

efootball Kick-off coming on Switch 2, a different version from console/mobile. Seems to have a main offline World Tour mode with player acquisition, tournaments & classic matchs + 6v6 mode. Looks decent + without microtransactions, so already the most respectable version tbf.

🇯🇵 By the way we can now confirm with today's #efootball Connect that Seitaro Kimura is still in place at Konami, but as General Director. Junichi Taya specifies that Kimura is in charge of development. It has never been replaced since the launch of efootball as many thought.

I stopped sharing some "private data" for over a year now, because it no longer interests me and they have strengthened their almost non-existent security. But I think this post is mostly aimed at websites that extract database datas for DT new cards, which I never did.
@Durandil67 are they saying they're gonna start pursuing legal action against people who mine data like you?

In short, I'm not even disappointed because I already knew things weren't going well when I heard about it several months ago. I hope I'm wrong. Perhaps it will be high-quality ML, after 5-6 years of waiting. But the efootball/online gambling ecosystem is so awful that, well...

Then they talk about gameplay "script" and deny that the devs are manipulating matchs. It's a very sensitive subject, and those who know me know that I mostly agree with what the devs are saying, but I don't even play online anymore so my opinion about it doesn't matter.

And who still plays Master League without patchs? I mean Edit Mode is available since the PS1 era, and contrary to what is said in the video, eFootball has fewer teams and league licenses than before in the PES era. Do they know how ML is mainly played nowadays?🤦♂️

For me it's perfectly clear that they don't want to offer Edit Mode simply because it would discourage people from buying cosmetics like the kits they offer for purchase. People will just using Edit Mode to get them for free if this is available. It's not rocket science. 🤷♂️

❌ Edit Mode unavailable. They're citing piracy issues. What? They're also mentioning copyright issues. I seriously doubt that, considering Konami is only offering a in-game tool that allows local edits, it's the O.F makers who would be facing legal issues, not Konami.

This ML will be in a different format, they say "Episode" with different scenarios (injury, potential etc.) This connects my findings in the game files, which now date back to 2023. But they would have taken just 2 years to develop it, and 2 years to integrate it online?... 🤨

✅ Master League is coming in April. ❌It will be an online event linked to Dream Team Mode. What a terrible choice! Where did the "high-quality" paid DLC project go? The same Seitaro Kimura who announced it almost 5 YEARS AGO? Going from paid DLC to online free event. Wow. 😶

Okay so I'm making a short thread about today's announcements for #efootball, watch this official video if you haven't seen it. I won't go on for very long because in any case, my dedication to what this franchise (and video games) have become is now seriously undermined. 👇

Well... a lot happened in this "interview". Edit Mode mention. Master League mention. Master League is coming to #eFootball next April!! 🥳 I should be happy. I should be excited. 🙂 ...

As good as Julien Merceron was for Konami and PES (he notably contributed to the core/fox engine of PES 2015 which is still used today), I think that this new "FIFA x Netflix game" will be very far from an efootball/EA FC/UFL experience.
The former boss of Metal Gear Solid and eFootball’s Fox Engine is overseeing tech on Netflix’s new FIFA game. https://t.co/iypZfKfmKO
