As DeFi gains more and more traction, this is a timely reminder for us to all stay vigilant and always do research before taking any action.

@OrbitLending @Agent_Fi 4/ As a decentralized protocol, Duo itself is neutral and does not exert any control or influence on the price movement of any token. In other words, the activities on AMMs are independent of the functioning of Duo. This was by the original design and is well tested now.

3/ In the free, open market on-chain, individual users may provide liquidity on AMMs, which enables direct swap between Duo tokens and native tokens. In the past, this spontaneous behavior sparked novel DeFi products and markets, e.g. lending @OrbitLending or looping @Agent_Fi.

2/ The Duo Asset Tokens (DETH and DUSD) are reference tokens for every deposit into Duo. These tokens are byproduct to the core functionality. As written in the smart contract, Duo protocol only ensures 1:1 redemption to native token for *already opened positions*.

1/ To emphasize, Duo is designed as an interest rate swap protocol. The fundamental use case is to boost native yield or Blast Points. In fact, in this simple construct, Duo currently still provides one of the best yield opportunities across DeFi protocols.
