Dune: Awakening, the open-world survival MMO developed by Funcom, is launching May 20, 2025 for PC, with release on PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X/S after that.

In DUNE: PROPHECY, Episode 5, the characters—protagonists and antagonists alike—are so complex and multi-faceted that viewers can find themselves rooting for shades of good and evil. The deadly schemes and plots are fast-moving, with twists and turns that would please Hitchcock.

Dune: Prophecy, Episode 4 is the best so far, a skillful blend of plans within plans and plots within plots, of mystery, intrigue, corruption, and murder. Shakespeare would like this episode, and so would Frank Herbert.

In DUNE: PROPHECY, Episode 3, it is great to see how closely the series tracks with what Kevin and I wrote in SISTERHOOD OF DUNE, concerning the mysterious, lethal combination of Valya Harkonnen and her loyal sister, Tula. They are a dangerous duo, with an intriguing backstory.

I loved “Dune: Prophecy” Episode 2. They are getting important details right. When Kevin and I wrote the novels, and when we later provided script advice, we were careful to emphasize that anyone entering Other Memory cannot utilize it at will. Instead, it is random and chaotic.

Jihae, the talented actress playing Reverend Mother Kasha in our new series “Dune: Prophecy,” has interesting things to say about the Sisterhood.

As I watched the premiere of Dune: Prophecy, I thought of my parents, Frank and Beverly Herbert, who were the first to set foot in the fantastic Dune universe. This new series is packed with intrigues and suspense. I'm very pleased with it, and my parents would have been, too.
