Now, a second writer has been placed in the position that I held and was very happy to do so. Don't trust Andrew Hammond. I was lied to and my career ended for personal reasons, which is technically a retaliatory action that is not covered under our right to work laws.

That's when he told me UAB coverage was being placed on a pause. I asked before the season started if there was any update and he texted me, "I have someone in place. Thanks.". I emailed up the chain of command and never got an answer to why I was "soft-fired.".

I published an article about Matt McCants being promoted to full-time OL coach, which was deleted within 30 minutes and replaced with a plagiarized version under a different writer's byline. I then published two position previews and was asked to give Hammond a call.

In case you haven't noticed, I haven't published a UAB article in more than a year, and it wasn't by choice. I was told by @aldotcom sports editor Andrew Hammond that coverage was being placed on a pause indefinitely. .
