Ducks are returning to Bally Sports for the 2024-25 season which means another year of me listening to them on @DucksStream. Disappointing that they're putting themselves behind a steep paywall rather than make it as easy as possible for their fans to watch them. #FlyTogether

The Ducks roster is now essentially set for Opening Night: Zegras / Carlsson / Terry Gauthier / McTavish / Vatrano Fabbri / Strome / Killorn McGinn / Lundestrom / Leason Fowler / Mintyukov Zellweger / Gudas Dumolin / LaCombe Dostal Gibson That's not a good roster. At all.

Jackson LaCombe for Patrik Laine and a 2nd wouldn't have sucked but...GMPV must have his reasons.

July ends tomorrow The NHL preseason begins in 53 days There's still time for GMPV to make moves, but it appears likely they're going to run it back with Fabbri/Dumolin as the only additions & Jones/Silfverberg the subtractions. Lot of pressure on the young players to step up.

Actions speak louder than words. That goes for the whole organization. Don't tell me, in July, it's time to win more games. Do it from October to April. Also, this quote from Strome is 😮‍💨 - "We'll see how the next couple of years go. We'll take things slowly & see what happens."

Patrik Laine is: - a consistent 30 goal scorer - a legit top six winger - available via trade for picks and prospects - younger than Troy Terry Ducks should absolutely get him. They have the assets, the need and the cap space.

Ducks are traveling the equivalent of going around the world twice this season.

Tristan Luneau seems to be a forgotten man on the Ducks defense. I wonder what his place in the organization is as viewed by GMPV? Could he be trade bait? Could he be the Ducks Brock Faber to potentially get someone like Kevin Fiala in return? Or is he viewed higher than Minty/Z?

Reminder the Ducks have no TV deal for the upcoming season. Something like this would be fantastic!

One week into free agency here's how I think the Ducks will look on Opening Night. IMO this roster gets the Ducks back in the Draft Lottery with excellent odds to win it. There's simply not enough talent on either side of the puck. I really hope GMPV has some trades in the works.
