At Half of Eleven, a regenerated croft on the Isle of Skye by @Dualchas Architects, you can enjoy the dramatic weather without leaving the house – one factor that led to its 2023 RIAS Award https://t.co/xsTqotbRrJ @RIASmembership #RIBAawards

"Dùthchas" is an ancient Gaelic term, used widely in Scotland before the clearances, that describes the ecological principle of interconnectedness between people, the land, and nonhuman beings.

HOW COOL IS OUR NEW CINEMA?🎬 Back in 2006, the cinema in Fort William shut up shop & it has taken 14 years for a new one to grace the cobbled high street, but I think we can all agree that it was worth the wait!

Looking out across the water from a new site on the north of Skye. The new house will be tucked away at the bottom of a small cliff.

We're honoured to design buildings in some spectacular locations. An early site photo from a project on the banks of a Scottish loch. What a view! #dualchas #scottisharchitecture #travelphotography #scotland #travelscotland #scotlandexplore #scotlandlover #scottishdesign

We are currently finalising the detailed design of this new brick house in the central belt of Scotland. We're hoping it will start on site soon, as the lock down begins to lift. Watch this space!

Our response to a steeply sloped, wooded lochfront site. A lightweight timber volume floats amongst the tree canopies above a heavy concrete podium.

The view from a beautiful new site on the Isle of Skye, a constrained pocket of land at the base of a small cliff. We're looking forward to responding to the unique challenges and opportunities which a site like this presents.

The view across Loch Greshornish towards the site of a brand new project. The highly constrained waterfront plot is full of opportunities for a wonderful piece of site specific architecture.
