Well done to our shining star this for great involvement with all our Hallowe’en activities this week and letting us know how she feels when she is doing it 🌟

This boy in the Badgers was delighted to receive his Leaver’s hoodie which he can wear to Drumpark til the end of term. He definitely looks very handsome and grown-up in it

So pleased with this Badger yesterday for going on the roundabout at the park and wanting it "faster, faster". He was even trying hard to make it go himself with his foot 😊

We continued our Christmas hunt outside and found the nativity scene. We had a close look at the baby Jesus, the main story of Christmas

Everyone was excellent at using their PECS books to choose the colour of pencils that they wanted to use for their Story picture 🌈🖍️🌈 one boy was too quick to get his picture taken 🏃♂️
The Badgers were out in high winds this afternoon to sow some wildflower seeds. Not sure if they've landed where we were sowing them however I'm sure they will look pretty wherever they are 🤷♀️ 🌼🌻🌺🏵️

This afternoon we used a Talking Mat to show which flavours of ice cream we would like to eat. Biscuit flavour was quite popular and someone liked the idea of crisp flavoured ice cream 😁 I wonder if we should try making it 🤔🙊

Every week Alison in the kitchen orders the food we use in our food technology and science lessons. We made her a thank you poster. We used the art work we made from the eggs rolled in paint before Easter
@drumparkprimary
Today the Badgers used their PECS sentence strips to choose which ice cream they wanted to try and to say which they liked or didn’t like
@drumparkprimary
Finally remembered to check out our
#fairtrade
chocolate writing name lollies. They worked really well and tasted delicious as a wee treat for our hard work and concentration.

The Badgers were digging up their crop of potatoes today. Wee bags of tatties are on their way home to be enjoyed by all the families 😋

Our completed pictures for the Children In Need art competition. We ripped up yellow paper, glued on coloured pom-poms and cut pipe cleaners to make our creations
@drumparkprimary
The Badgers were finding their favourites on the iPads this morning. You won't be too surprised to know they were very good at it 😉 Next week we will be using them to support our writing in literacy
During our massage time it is very beneficial to have close contact with someone. We find it relaxing, help us develop a greater sense of self, others and being respected

For our Pupil Action Group Day of Rights the Badgers made Advent wreaths for Christmas to show we have a right to our own beliefs

@drumparkprimary
We made cloud dough by mixing flour and baby oil. We also added some food colouring. Lots of great mixing, exploring the texture with our hands and experimenting 🧫

L delivering chocolate dipped strawberries we made earlier to our head teacher. He walked holding Miss Claire’s hand all the way from his class. He walked up the stairs and bumped down them on the way back. 👏👏
