I think there's a valid criticism about the frequency of day 0 errata, though I'd give them a pass for now because of how early on we are Pretty different between making a decision to change how a card works and just being a bit sloppy on templating (e.g. forgetting end of turn)

Yes you can memorize how these interact with dreaming tree / responding to have no legal targets / sett / phoenix. It's not impossible to learn them, but I don't think there's an upside to having them be weird and an unpleasant gotcha for people learning.

I like the falling star / rain change. Particularly this early on, I don't see why you wouldn't take the opportunity to clear up a messy rules situation. If something is messy because it has to be, that's part of card games, but these were messy for no real point.

I feel like cards in magic are vastly better than cards in most other CCGs. Since we keep piggybacking off mtg think pieces from the 2000s (when cards were even better in magic), we keep overvaluing cards in other games. Anyways, watchful sentry feels god-awful.

2nd Nats invite earned in a week. Finished top 4 at the Materia cup after fighting all weekend through heaps of Yuna hate. Only losses were to the guys who got 1st and 2nd As @Drisoth always said, just play the good decks. Even if people hard target, good decks just get there.

Basically nothing in this thread makes sense to me, but presuming this isnt just lies (and why would it be) this decision was the right one.
More players and more hours in LoR (probably TPoC especially) than they've ever seen since "Button Day" and Constellations
