2024 USDGC - I averaged a rating of 1047 and got 10th place. 2014 USDGC - The winner averaged a rating 1040… It’s getting harder and harder to be “elite” at this game. The cut line at the 2024 USDGC was 1023… You average 1023 in the year 2014 you would have got 8th place.

People might not say it on here or out loud cause they want to be “loved” or not have people upset at them but the truth is the truth. The consensus here isn’t that great.

Me asking the PDGA to hire a professional course designer is like you hiring an architect to design your custom home. There’s nothing wrong with wanting a professional to design something they’re good at!

The PDGA should invest in a real course designer especially when the course has never been played prior to a MAJOR championship… The gimmicks and OB 8 feet from the target that everyone complains about comes from one “group” trying to make it “hard”. The truth is just that.
