- Joe Biden didn’t release the Epstein Files while he was President because they were kept confidential under strict court orders to protect the victims. This would have constituted executive interference with the judiciary, which clearly has never been a dealbreaker for Trump.

I think the default assumption has long been that being caught red-handed in a scandal of this nature would instantaneously end a politician’s career. That’s not how it ever works for Trump. His career won’t “end” by itself. Someone has to “end” it.
