I really hope they're gonna go after Weaver because while I didn't want to pay top dollar for a closer I also don't want Robert Stephenson as the number 1 choice

Says the Brewers are looking to move outfield depth for relievers with options Angels should be calling them
Latest notes with @WillSammon: Mets, why Alonso beat Schwarber, Luis Robert, more.

If this is the plan I believe the best players for this type of approach would be bo, imai, or murakami
The Angels haven’t done what they usually do this winter, which means they might still be able to do what they don’t usually do. Also, notes on the Rule 5 draft, Mike Trout and Reid Detmers.

Ken Rosenthal on the Angels: • Want to add another SP, CF, 3B and address their bullpen • “buyout discussions with Anthony Rendon continue.” • “Ideally, the Angels would acquire another high-end starter and at least one long man/spot starter type.”

Idk who the front line starter could be but the swingman feels like a Junis signing

I'm a bit wary of the rumors because its generally true but some news does get out before it happens Off the top of my head it was known the angels had interest in Stephenson before the signing happened
It feels like big media is really being pushed by agents. All we’re hearing right now is expect the #Angels to be in on this guy or that guy. When the Halos make a move we really don’t hear about it. Perry works quietly and doesn’t like stuff to get out. Just my 2 cents.

If this is the last starting pitcher the Angels get its a god awful horrible move If he starts in AAA its a whatever buy low type of move that could pay off Im very much indifferent to it as of now, ask again in march

I dont hate it actually Hes got options so he's not guaranteed a job
Right-hander Alek Manoah and the Los Angeles Angels are in agreement on a one-year, $1.95 million contract, a source tells ESPN. Manoah, 27, was non-tendered by Atlanta and lands with the Angels on a fully guaranteed big league deal.

Might be stupid but does Stephenson and a prospect for severino and 5 mil or so make sense A's get to pretend to spend money still, severino gets to leave and the Angels get a guy who can eat innings

No idea how legit this account is but I hope that this isn't true
Action starting to brew on Arenado - percolating - could see tons of smoke following the usual upcoming Thanksgiving week lull. Angles are in serious play here - and might require an answer soon enough. If Chaim can take care of this quickly - the possibility's this winter

Its probably a steep package but I think a Dana, Guzman, Aldeghri/kochanowicz, cortes and then maybe one more back end prospect package can get you nootbar and donovan
