There are many different theories about why flickering light generates such vivid visual experiences, and the question of how this arises is still unanswered. 3/

Frequency of the flickering light imposes a ‘beat’ on the rhythms of the brain, similar to the ‘alpha’ rhythm – the brain waves normally present when we’re awake, but relaxed. This discovery was first made by the pioneering British neuroscientist Dr Grey Walter in the 1950s. 2/

The glowing melodic core of the album shimmers with possibility, described by Jon as a ‘glittering elevation, where reverberating notes & nurturing pads are joined by a deep, rhythmic pulse and layered vocals, alive with melodic interplay & a gently propulsive grace’. 3/

The original score provides the soundtrack to Dreamachine’s cerebral journey, designed to build inner connection. 2/
