Most agents block so many NIL opportunities for players because it doesn’t make the agent enough of a cut. Find someone local that you trust that has a good reputation or keep it in the family. If you need direction, I know a guy 🤙

If you know anyone that’s connected into college hoops that you trust and you know isn’t looking for a “chip back” talk to them and listen to them, their advice is more than likely just as right as an agent

I’m not trying to talk bad about all agents either, there are some out there that are actually amazing people. I just met amazing people that so happened to not be agents, and I keep them close like family ❤️

Last thing, parents that are worried about this kind of stuff my best advice for you is to learn the business side of college athletics. It’s not just college hoops anymore, this is a profession.

Agents are attracted to bigger names, work the hardest for bigger names, if you don’t have the biggest name odds are they won’t work for you as much. at the end of the day only way to make ur name bigger is too play good in games… why would need an agent to do that?

They take 20% then tell you it pays for all the travel they have you do that summer… which most cases is just going to Miami or Cali and working out there for a couple weeks. You’re telling me that’s worth it? Ik I can do the same stuff on my own in my local ymca😂

Parents that have kids going to college for basketball this is for you. Please keep agents out of their lives, unless they are going pro, most of these agents out here are really only looking to profit off of what your son/daughter is doing, really sit back and think about it.
