#MyOxfordYear is far from bad thanks to the insane chemistry and moments, but because of the script tending towards bad, it ranks with #PurpleHearts on the lower end of the Sofia romcom era and it doesn't help #TheLifeList was months ago, a far better movie with the same themes.

. we came from #TheLifeList, what I think is the BEST Sofia Netflix romcom and it explores the same themes #MyOxfordYear has in such less cliche ways and more raw and real ones, also it completes the side characters and develops anything greatly, this wasn't it.

. but until that 30 minutes, that aren't truly 30 minutes because there are a lot of nonsense happening in the end, the movie literally jumps from thing to thing without any proper character development or exploration and the secondary characters aren't by far fleshed.

I think the script doesn't know what it truly wants compared to other Sofia Carson romcoms, yeah, (SPOILER) he is dying, but they literally use that the whole movie as a gimmick more than anything else, the last 30 minutes are perfect because they finally explore what it means.

This was exactly what I expected, and exactly what I didn't expect at the same time, Sofia and Corey killed it, my king Dougray Scott did an amazing job again as a father (I missed him since he left Batwoman), but I have some notes related to the script. #MyOxfordYear.

I eaten almost 10 episodes of TV today from my favorite shows, this summer has suck and I was behind on everything because of it but this return marathon was simply THE MOST PERFECT DAY since my trip to London. Today I go to bed with a smile on my face! :D. #GoodNight
