Reposting one more time. Thank you to those who have helped, it is truly appreciated and I send my love. Finalising my eulogy for him today, and the catering for the wake. Going through old pictures has been nice but tough. Disabling my social medias for a few days later today.

Funeral this Friday.Feeling a lot of self doubt.Seeing everyone going to have fun at a con I wanted to be at. Probably a good time to take a weekend or so break from being online.

Posting about paws and stuff feels slightly wrong at this time. But I know I still care. And I know I'm doing this for my own mental health. I wanna try and be a little normal so I don't fall into a depression.

Trying to go back to work today. Feeling anxious as all my coworkers are going to ask about it and I will have to relive that moment again. Also feeling pretty lonely and isolated. My emotions are a wreck 😓.

I don't know what to do with myself. First time being properly alone since he left us. I'm still not ready to talk to people yet but I just don't know what to do. Every time I think of something productive or things to do that I like, my brain says "no, don't do that thing" 😓.

Damn. Funerals are much more expensive than I thought. I wanna give him a good send off though. I cut back on a lot of expenses, knowing this was coming. Travel, commissions, and eating out. Seems like I will need to cut back for a while longer but I'm still quite a bit off.

Swapping between crying and trying not to freak out about what I have to do next. Being next of kin comes with a hell of a lot of responsibility. I'm gonna miss his voice so much. I can hear him say "Hey, mate" so clearly. I never want to forget that.
