Wonderful PAFTA presentation to end the day - so fantastic to celebrate the incredible teams we have in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 . Diolch to all those that organised & supported #sddconf23.

Final talk of the day was from @DrMikeMckean about how we can approach policy in practice. Lush to see how we are leading the way in Wales in some areas of policy! . Also prompted us to think about the why? Remind ourselves to bring it back to why we got into paeds #sddconf23.

We had a wonderful afternoon; after the break we had Cora Doherty from UHW NICU discussing how we can optimise neonatal safety. Exciting developments in their incident reporting system that involved neonatal triggers! Also tea and cake!!.

The afternoon has kicked off with a wonderful talk from SHINE about their Ser Bach project. Empowering children with hydrocephalus & spina bifida to manage their condition with their "Shall wee talk?".

The morning concluded with a fantastic talk from Kath Gooding & Michelle Jardine about Paediatric & Neonatal Organ donation. A special thank you to Stella, Belles mum from Belles Story. Thank you for sharing your wonderful daughter Belle #sddconf23 .
