Blue tongue skinks don’t actually possess any toxins or poisons, but in nature, bright colors usually indicate the previously mentioned toxins, so predators would rather not risk it.

it’s FUN REPTILE FACT FRIDAY NUMBA 1!!!!! today’s fact is: blue tongue skinks flash their bright blue tongue to warn predators that they might be poisonous. Their tongues reflect ultraviolet light, effectively flashbanging certain animals.
