Still thinking about this episode of #DragRace. These queens & teachers are not the villains causing harm. That narrative is a ruse. We harm children when we don’t let them be who they are. Yet, the pride flag I sent this teacher wouldn’t be allowed in classrooms where I live.
I believe that education is one of the most powerful weapons you can use to change the world. One of the things that truly touched me while spending time with Ms.Tang was her discussing lack of funding for materials needed to be the best she can be.

This is a thinly-veiled attempt to uphold homophobic & transphobic ideology under the guise of supporting children. Those who study development have data to back gender-affirming spaces. This is just an ignorant belief system spewed like it’s truth. Who is indoctrinating whom?.

The claim that gender-affirming teaching is “grooming” is demonstrably false, and perpetuating this idea is an act of violence. Children (and adults) in classrooms that support their gender identity learn better, and quite literally LIVE LONGER.
On a Friday radio show, Springfield school board member Steve Makoski said children "curious about their pronouns" or asking themselves "am I really a boy or am I really a girl" can be distracting in the classroom.

Agreed, Kyler. “how gender identity hinders academic performance” …uh what? We ALL have a gender identity. Though things would be better w/o prescribed roles by gender, I know that’s not what he means. Tired of folks who know nothing about child development speaking for children.
