If you want to write a book that centres human struggles in depth (i.e., identity, interpersonal connection, death), yes. If you want to write a book that doesn't go too deep in philosophical concepts, no. But I do prefer the first and deem that "meaningful".
Do you feel an author needs a deep understanding of the human condition to write a meaningful book? Or can they fake it?
