So true. I remember the days when communities would stand together to protect each child. It is so sad to see people not seem to care how many die if it means they have to wear a mask or register their gun….
My adult life so far has spanned the time when the entire nation stopped with bated breath to agonize over whether we could rescue 1 child who fell down a well, to a debate over how many children dying is still acceptable so as not be inconvenienced by a lightweight mask.

Seeing people attack and harass the very professionals who are out there trying to protect their children (and most of whom will continue to try to their kids, despite the way they are treated) is so sad. We are going to lose some of the most dedicated doctors we have.

We need to do an observational study. In schools that have mask optional policies, have children wearing masks in separate classrooms and let children interact within their groups. Keep all else the same. Look at # hospitalizations, illness, mental health, etc. #COVID19.
