In the meantime, what other Visa products do people like that are not run by Chase? I'm in the market for a new Visa account.

So the bottom line is (1) @Chase has lost a customer of >10 years, and (2) always double check your receipts from cab drivers.

I should be forced to pay the entire $392.12 that was fraudulently charged to me. When I call, I get only a request to submit a letter with wet-ink signature which is misread for 2 months.

for someone else's transaction. So all I had to submit was someone else's receipt, whereas the cab company had a receipt for $392. Chase advised me to submit a fraud complaint, which I did. They took a couple of months and decided that since I got a 4-minute cab ride out of it,

So @Chase just got back to me that they denied my fraud claim because I derived benefit from the transaction. As a reminder, I took a 4-minute cab ride in Istanbul (it was raining). The cabbie handed me a receipt for approximately $40 (should have cost $3) and sped away.

My take on the oligarch was to trade in my Model Y for this. And then take it camping in the Uintas.

Hey, @Chase when a cabbie in Istanbul gives me a fake receipt and then charges me $400 (instead of the $3 they should have), telling me that you're backing the merchant despite multiple letters doesn't reassure me.

OK. I think I'm now my same handle over at this blue sky thing. Happy to move over there. Looking forward to it being more than complaining, but I know transitions are tricky. For work, I'm posting more at LinkedIn lately. Still no Facebook.

Two years late because I could never find the right day to feel lousy, but PCP told me at my annual physical today to just grow up, so I got my shingles vaccine. Shingles is way worse than this, and this is a legit vaccine.
