Non-revenue water in Garissa is 45% which is high as per international standards. It not only denies water companies the much needed revenue but also interrupts supply and destroy water infrastructure. With proper enforcement, the NRW levels can be reduced significantly.

Garissa water problem is engineered by cartels in GAWASCO sector ,lack of leadership is also another problem. It's true only 10% can access the water ,yet we have the biggest river in the area,the cartels are benefitting and the common mwananchi are struggling.
