Cyclist, scribbler, and not half as rude as some people seem to think he is. Any rubbish I put out comes from me and no-one else.

The BBC continues to parrot the right agenda. “Immigration was a key issue in the 2024 election…” the news just said. And yet surveys then said it wasn’t top and only 1/4 voters thought it important.

Have now got air source heat pump so call @edfenergy to say stop charging me for gas now. No. I have to pay 19p a day for a supply of stuff I can’t use until they organise the meter to be removed. No date or time estimate given. @edfenergy 2024 - £1.6 bn profits.

If Grenfell is demolished ... what should the site be? A memorial park would seem proper.

We can’t afford to compensate women who lost pensions rights. We can’t afford to offer child benefit beyond two children, as more than four million children live in poverty. We can afford to give a lifetime meal ticket to 38 comparatively wealthy people.

Only one other country, Chile, has a national system whereby private companies own a monopoly on water and sewage. If it was such a good idea, why has it not been copied wider?

SPOTY BBC list: no Mark Cavendish despite a truly global ranking achievement. I have no opinion about this though. It’s not a criticism of the BBC, merely an observation.

I see no negative coverage of this: London Stansted has said it recorded the busiest day in its history as more than 107,000 passengers passed through the terminal on 27 October.

Commentators trying to work out the US election miss the bigger picture. The USA is fundamentally undemocratic. It has one more effective party than say China and Russia, but far fewer than most of the rest of the world. Workers feeling left behind have no-one to vote for.

When you think £5bn a year for workers’ rights is somehow unfair to business, think of the profits that business makes from workers. One example, Centrica, £4bn a year.
