The importance of a good bleeding bony bed for root repair. When returning for a final look at a root repair, seeing a robust and adherent blood clot at the repair site is very satisfying. #rootrepair

Discoid menisci are not common, but have a propensity to tear easily. Usually this is a midsubstance tear, but in this case the tear was a anterior vertical tear resulting in a "reverse" bucket handle configuration. After reduction, saucerization and repair was performed.
