@guardian @vueling @AesaSpain @vueling present me with increasingly confused and confusing messages. They tell me they can't manage a complaint via Twitter, but then do so - both publicly and via DMs. They haven't yet explained why they haven't complied with @AesaSpain's award of compensation.

A similar issue appears in the @guardian today. I see @vueling did pay the person lucky enough to get their case featured in the papers. I wonder if they will also do the right thing and comply with @AesaSpain's award in my case.

Compensation was due after a cancelled flight but it is ignoring us despite a ruling from the watchdog

@vueling @AesaSpain I find it hard to believe that this is what senior leaders at @vueling would want from their business -- it is unreasonable that the company has not communicated clearly and put things right. My hope is that @vueling will now finally explain what is going on & put things right.

@vueling I don't even know at this point, after so many months, if this is a failure of @vueling's customer service systems, policy, and culture or a deliberate choice by the business to avoid payment of the compensation which @AesaSpain has determined is my due.

Despite repeated efforts on multiple @vueling channels, it has proved impossible to date to find out why this still hasn't been paid and when things will be put right.
