Used the new #fcpsPOGPOL Socratic seminar resource to reflect on our year of growth as GD&R individuals who persevere through difficult tasks and situations. Had to hold back tears as Ss shared ways they have persevered inside & outside of school & how it has helped them! 🌱🌿

We had our first Socratic seminar today during our critical literacy unit & it was wonderful. Students did a great job honoring everyone’s voice, sharing their opinions, and agreeing/disagreeing respectfully. 👏🏻

This sweet fifth grader has brought treats for my entire class for my birthday two years in a row. 😭 He organized and had them all sing to me this morning too. He had me in tears! I am so grateful for amazing students like him! 💖
