As someone who has strabimus, this makes me emotional 🥹. She will inspire lots of strabismic individuals (& others with visual disabilities) to push through the negative stereotypes & preconceptions that we face, both inside and outside sport 👊👊.

As a woman we are told not to tell people we are alone, because it puts us at risk. I'm in a room right next to the pool, where everyone can see I am alone & watch me come and go. Intuitively this doesn't feel safe.
