I will be going online in a couple of hours, presenting a plenary talk about 'Elbow Fracture Dislocations- algorithmic approach to acute cases' at the Preethi Trauma Update, joining Prof Gregory Bain and Dr Niloofar Dehghan. Looking forward to some insightful discussions.

Hope good sense prevails!.Hospitals are full, urgent surgeries have to be outsourced to keep up with the demand, emergency departments are overflowing and trauma services and surgeons are busier than ever. What could go wrong??.

Orthopods, don’t try it for fixing distal radius fractures. Common pattern distal radius fractures displace in supination. This will make your life harder.

Published. Some patients may be too small to have their hip fracture fixed with the FNS device. Sometimes you can get away with technique modification but best to check and be prepared. Thanks for all the work team! .

Hear me out:.Nano capsules filled with antibiotics and they have a covering that contains those antibiotics inside forever, until the capsule gets ruptured by the surface features/products of pathogenic bugs. Antibiotic depots you can leave around implant, that lie there dormant.
