I cannot even verbalize (and I’m an ELA teacher so that’s a rarity) how amazing our OMS Competition Teams have been!! 🐝 In our area’s Scholar’s Bowl we had a championship runner-up team (3 playoff games!) and 2 all-star individuals! Best. Kids. Ever. #OMSjacketlife

Today my pre-AP kids blew me away by taking interest in current events, truly empathizing with a speaker not far off from their own age, and contributing to a global conversation— all while analyzing info text and working their way up their proficiency scale 💛 #OMSjacketlife

For Awards Day I also got to celebrate some more of my preschool babies moving up to HIGH SCHOOL! I’m so fortunate to have gotten my 3 year olds again at 14 and to have spent the year getting to know who they are becoming (which is too cool obviously) @OMS_Jackets #OMSjacketlife
